thankfulness for big families and homeschooling

while reading “Charlotte’s Web” we got to the chapter titled “Loneliness” and i paused to ask the boys if they knew what loneliness meant.  “uh, no.”  so i explained.  and then i asked them if they’d ever felt lonely before. 
my oldest thought for a moment and said simply, “no.”
